"Peter Roos participated with his son Ethan in Stephen Johnson´s workshop with FocusOnNature last summer. If you think Iceland is very cold, consider that Ethan was wearing shorts and sandals most of the time. Even when photographing The Glacier Lagoon. Icelanders like to say that the climate in Iceland is temperate, especially during the summer time. Peter and Ethan where great sport to be with and adorable father and son."

"My son Ethan and I had a wonderful experience in Iceland with this workshop. Stephan is a fantastic teacher and artist. He is very generous with his technical help and constructive criticism. Because of this, we had important concepts to be thinking about when we composed our pictures and processed them later on. You, Gudmundur, and Stephan mapped out a route that had a wide variety of amazing landscapes. Traveling around in the "Little Yellow Hen" got us to off road locations that most people don't get the chance to see. For such a small country, there are huge scenic vistas of incredible beauty to behold. I hope to get back to Iceland soon to see more of the country and reconnect to my new friends there. Thank you again for a wonderful experience."
