"Evan Anderman participated in Stephen Johnson´s workshop with FocusOnNature last summer. Although Gudmundur, one of my best guides, was both the driver and Stephen's assistant during that workshop, I went along as I had the time. As an administrator my work is to be steadily on guard, ensuring that everything ahead, both in time and space is in order. This involves being on the phone a lot and make all sorts of arrangements to ensure things run smoothly during workshops. I enjoyed the great company of Evan in the back seat of the "Yellow hen" as Gudmundur's vehicle is called. Evan is a great and kind personality, highly dedicated to his photographic passion, to show the inherent beauty of nature, so often in a way not easily visible to the naked eye."

"Einar at FocusOnNature did a fine job of organizing our workshop in Iceland, from our accommodations in Reykjavik to our fine guide and driver Gudumundur. It seemed that Einar was always on the phone making sure that all our arrangements were just right and just in time. He had a good feeling for timing events. He was also full of colorful stories about just about every aspect of life in Iceland, there was never a dull moment in the van. To Einar there are never problems, just solutions.
