Mastering Lightroom and Photoshop in the breathtaking landscape of Iceland

In this action-packed week long workshop, you will be moving through real-world image processing using Photoshop Lightroom and Photoshop in the most efficient manner possible. The course will be a graceful balance between making images in the field and discovering how to take advantage of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom’s efficient workflow while simultaneously refining those Photoshop skills.

Through hands-on experience, you'll learn how to become more efficient while importing, managing, selecting, rating, tagging, editing, developing and showcasing large volumes of images - jumping to Photoshop when necessary to learn deep pixel editing techniques such as retouching, compositing, and special effects.

The primary objective for each student will focus on a comprehensive understanding of the technology as well as the application and optimization of the programs for speed and efficiency as they explore the breathtaking scenery across Iceland. By the end of the week, each student will determine their own “best practice workflow” for his or her own body of photography.

We will be traveling to several, stunningly different locations in Iceland for our field work. With each day offering us the chance for weather ranging from the high contrast of mid-day, to atmospheric clouds and long golden light , we will have the opportunity to make new and exciting images to work with as we process and refine our workflow throughout the week.
