Focus on Nature spring-cleaning By Einar Erlendsson
|
People do all sorts of cleaning in the springtime. In the Reykjavik area people can clean their gardens and trim trees and leave the result sorted on the payment in front of their houses during specific dates in the spring. The city then collects it and uses it to produce an organic substance called MOLTA. MOLTA is a high-quality organic fertilizer, produced according to fixed quality standards. There are still few weeks in Iceland until it is time to do this.
Some people do spring-cleaning in the garage, others in their storage room. At Focus on Nature we have been doing spring-cleaning in our image archive. We added some TB of storage space for Raw files and for backup and have been using the evenings and nights for updates and cleaning our archive by running everything through Adboe Ligtroom 2.3.
It is during such cleaning, people often find things that bring back memories. In our case it was images from last years Focus on Nature program, which brought back great memories. We are now looking forward to another great time with the Focus on Nature 2009 program this summer.
We will be attending Photoshop World in Boston next week, but we will be staying online.
Following are few images from Focus on Nature 2008
Enjoy
