IMAGINE PEACE TOWER and the book.
A new, magnificent piece of art.

IMAGINE PEACE LIGHT TOWER is in Videy, an island just outside the harbor of Reykjavik in Iceland. The light tower beams 75.000 W of light straight into the air, in memory of John Lennon.

The IMAGINE PEACE TOWER is composed of a tall shimmering tower of light that will appear every year and be visible from October 9th (John’s birthday) until December 8th (the anniversary of his death).

The Iceland Post Company has recently issued a book about this unique masterpiece. The book contains a wealth of information on the project and its background and John Lennon's and Yoko Ono´s life and art.
