A Natural Eye Immersion in Iceland
The Icelandic landscape celebrates the earth in action. Envision the extremes of raw volcanic action, ice caves, geothermal hot springs, and the wild North Atlantic, and you are in a paradise of breathtaking, contrasting, and photographically thrilling environments. In this week long immersion, Eddie will take key ideas from his core workshop, A Natural Eye, and infuse them into short sessions throughout the week. Maximum time will be spent in the field, allowing you the chance to try the session ideas throughout the experience. A Natural Eye strives to develop your eye first, and then bring the technical skills of photography up to it. Sessions on changing your perspective, sharpening your senses, and breaking out of the box will surround you with possibilities. You will find yourself focused less on objects and things and more on the magic of moments and the essence of places. Eddie’s foundational belief in spending quality time in a few diverse landscapes instead of running from one location to another will set the tone for the week, and allow you the chance to immerse yourself in serious image-making.
