As the project manager for Focus on Nature I spend most of my time sending emails, on the phone, veiling and dealing, calculating, planning, arguing, worrying and trying to execute good ideas.
Last Sunday a friend of mine, a graphic artist, became 70 years old. He had a little birthday party at his summerhouse about one hour drive from my home. So I decided to shut down the computer, take a day of and go to honor my friend on his anniversary.
It was a sunny day and I took an off road track from my home to the main road. I then suddenly realized a geothermal world of wonders in my backyard only 15 minutes away from my home which I like to share with you. I stopped there only for 5 minutes and took few photographs standing basically on the same spot.
I think we will definitely spend couple of hours in this area during one of your field trips this summer.
