Nearly all international flights to and from Iceland are through the international Leifur Eiriksson airport. The airport is situated about 40 minutes drive from the capital Reykjavik. There are both Fly Buses and Taxis available at all times for transportation between the airport and Reykjavik.

There are up to 40 to 50 international flights to and from the Leifur Eiriksson terminal every 24 hours, both between Europe and America.
