Turn ideas into reality - a workshop with Vincent Versace

The Program:
In addition to photography during exiting field trips the following topics will be covered:
- What is focus, depth of field and light
- Understanding the biomechanics of the way eye sees
- Using that understanding in to create more successful images
- Photoshop CS3
- Making Color Management go away.
- Black and white conversions that replicates the physics of film
- Image harvesting techniques and strategies
- Cinematic Approach to lighting in Photoshop
- Principles of the Fine Art Workflow
- Fine Art Printing Techniques
What you should bring:
A digital SLR camera, a tripod, lenses, a Laptop computer, and Adobe Photoshop (Photoshop CS3 is recommended). Good photographic skills, and open mind, an open spirit and the curiosity of a cat are will serve you best on our journey through the week. Students will be required to have only a general understanding of digital imaging, though some experience with Photoshop is recommended. The more you come with, the more you'll take back, the deeper we can explore and the greater journey we can go on.

If you are interested in expanding your understanding of what you are seeing when you are looking through the lens and learn how to get your photographic voice heard in the print you show.
